Tim McGraw’s diet plan makes him eat like a “Caveman”. He follows a Paleo diet plan to maintain his muscular and aesthetic physique. In general, a Paleo diet plan doesn’t include any kind of grains in it which means that one can’t eat bread or flour while following a Paleo diet plan.

However, Tim McGraw’s diet plan isn’t strictly a Paleo one. It includes certain grains in it. But at the same time, he ensures that those are gluten-free. Following a Paleo nutrition plan has significantly helped Tim McGraw in losing those extra pounds and building a lean and muscular physique.

Tim’s diet plan follows a low-carb approach. It prioritizes the consumption of oatmeal, fruits like sweet potatoes, and vegetables like kale and other leafy greens to fuel his body with good carbs which keeps him energetic throughout the day.

  • Lunch (1 PM)- Kale salad (with cranberries, balsamic vinegar, and Parmesan cheese), or tuna (mixed with onion and celery), lemon juice, liquid amino acids, ginger, organic yogurt, a touch of maple syrup, sprouts, half an avocado, rock salt, pepper, and olive oil.
  • Snack (3 PM)- Nuts like almonds, walnuts, pecans, grounded in a fruit smoothie (can add spinach too)
  • Dinner (7-8 PM)- Steak or grilled salmon, with lime juice, paprika, fish sauce, ginger; toasted sesame seeds, grilled asparagus, stir fry greens, and/or polenta.

Tim McGraw also drinks plenty of water throughout the day to keep his body hydrated.

Apart from eating plenty of healthy and nutritious food items, Tim also has to keep himself away from certain food items that can mess up his fitness goals. To build his washboard abs, he had to bid adieu to his drinking habit and he still follows suit.
