Owing to some legal issues, he even landed in prison. But the best thing was that he considered his prison sentence as an opportunity to transform himself completely.

He structured a workout routine for himself that he could follow in prison. It was focused on getting him in better shape. He followed it every single day.

The workout routine which he followed in prison, basically revolved around performing bodyweight exercises. Pullups, pushups, free squats, and situps were the main exercises.

He also performed resistance training using free weights. He claimed that lifting weights had a therapeutic impact on him. Doing so helped him to stay positive and focused. He says,

“I just love weight lifting I love stretching my muscles and I love the pain it causes.”

By relying on resistance training, he was also able to pack on muscle mass on his frame.

When Mane’s prison term was over, he came out as a completely different person. He had lost 50 lbs. Not only was he in great shape but was also focused and disciplined.

  • Spot jogging- 3 sets of 1 minute
  • Mountain climbers- 3 sets of 1 minute
  • Pull ups/ chin ups- 3 sets of 10-15 reps
  • Push ups- 3 sets of 10-15 reps
  • Bench dips- 3 sets of 10-15 reps
  • Air Squats- 3 sets of 10-15 reps
  • Wall sit- 3 sets of 1 minute
  • Single leg hip bridge- 3 sets of 10 reps
  • Lunges/Side lunges- 3 sets of 10-15 reps
  • Crunches- 3 sets of 10-15 reps
  • Bicycle crunch- 3 sets of 10-15 reps
  • Burpees- 3 sets of 10 reps

Even after his prison term, he continued with his fitness regime. And he still makes sure to exercise on a daily basis.

At present, Mane weighs somewhere around 170 lbs. And his physique exudes leanness and definition like never before. You can see it in his recent social media posts.

Gucci Mane’s cardio routine is pretty simple but extremely effective as well. He loves to perform running and cycling as his cardio workouts.

Those activities not only keep his cardiovascular health in check but also burn off excess fat from his frame.

Staying Active

Mane recently revealed in one of his interviews that he believes in the effectiveness of staying active. On days, when he doesn’t feel like following his regular exercise routine, he just resorts to engaging in some form of physical activity.
